Beyond the earth and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malicious magic. The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible realm that’s unintelligible to the mortal mind. This place is ruled by the Four Ruinous Powers which strive to cut their chains and submerge everyone in a sea of corruption. Nurgle is the god of plague; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of methods; and Khorne god of slaughter and blood.

Two powerful kingdoms protect the borders between worlds: Grand Cathay’s huge empire, and Kislev’s stern soldiers. However, each has their own struggles, and each is now forced to go over the frontier and unleash their forces into the Realm of Chaos.

The entire world is at the brink of demise. One push can plunge it into cataclysm.

And there’s one who is determined to accomplish just this. A sage who is determined to wield supreme power. But to succeed the man will require the support of a champion…
